My Thoughts On Dubai

Translation // It's a couple of weeks since we went to Dubai and even though it wasn't all that I thought it would be, it was still a lovely trip. There are a few things I would suggest keeping in mind if you wanna go.

  • Plan your trip. Make sure you book the things you wanna do ahead of going as there'll be quite a lot of money to save. Also, you don't risk that the attractions are all booked like we did. That really sucked!
  • Dubai is not made for poor students like us. If you want the full Dubai experience, I reckon you need a good amount of cash to spend. I would definitely have liked having some more bucks in my pocket.
  • Last but not least you need to remember that the customs are really different from most Western contries. We obviously knew that we were going to an Islamic country but we didn't realize just how hard it would be to get used to not kissing and holding hands in public. It's definitely not a place I would recommend for honeymooners!

But all though my experience in Dubai wasn't exclusive or luxurious it was still a nice holiday with my boyfriend. We will be doing a bit more planning for our next trip though!
