Translation // This is probably yet another American invention when it comes to weddings but I really love the idea and I snatched it the second I saw it on Pinterest! I was contemplating ordering a card from Etsy but after thorough search I didn't quite find the perfect design, so I thought I might as well make one myself. It was quite easy and I like how it turned out, and hopefully Catherine does too. I just thought it was a cute way to officially ask her to be one of my bridesmaids.
Also, can I just say that Pinterest is such a dangerous place to go searching for wedding inspiration, there are so many nice and pretty things, but in reality, at least my reality, it won't be possible to create half of the things, let alone afford to. I have a feeling that I'm gonna have to compromise a lot with the wedding, which is fine but Pinterest seriously makes me dream of this illusional, perfect wedding. I just have to remember it's a fantasy! No wedding is picture perfect, you only get to see a small selection of it on the internet, which creates the illusion of a perfect wedding which is unrealistic in most cases. I hope that made sense! Rant over.
will you...
ReplyDeleteWow!! I just loved the cards. They look adorable. Want to have similar ones for my bridesmaids too for my wedding at one of best wedding venues as I really liked your idea of handmade cards. Surely everyone will love them. Thanks for sharing them here.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it! It was really easy to make, I just created the template on picmonkey.com and then put it into word and printed on some carton :) I then made a handwritten message inside the card to make it even more personal.
